Pampering at Pamflete in aid of Holbeton Pre School

Nestled in the heart of The Flete Estate, Pamflete House recently hosted a day of Pampering, Wellness and Relaxation in support of Holbeton Pre-School. As the sun shone brightly outside, an aura of calmness and tranquility filled the house as guests arrived for a day dedicated to well being and precious “me time”. As all of us contend with busy work lives, hectic family routines and time constraints, hopes were high that minds, bodies and souls would be completely restored by the end of the day.

A variety of classes for all abilities, were held throughout the day in the spacious, light drenched dining room, including a challenging Pilates class with Naomi. a beautifully flowing, yoga class with Donna and a healing Gong bath with Ruth.

For those wishing to be slightly more indulgent, a range of treatments were available in the relaxing bedrooms upstairs. Options included restorative sports massages for aching muscles with Mike, a healing Reiki treatment from Melissa or an indulgent facial courtesy of Tropic Skincare,  using a range of deliciously smelling products which were all completely vegan and cruelty free.

Our friends from Planet Warrior provided an exciting opportunity to purchase some beautifully made, tropically inspired leisure clothing, all made from recycled plastic waste and Eco Friendly right down to the packaging!

Following through with the theme of Wellness; mineral water, vegetable and fruit smoothies, and every kind of herbal tea were on offer to encourage regular hydration throughout the day. Appetites were sated with a healthy nutritious lunch including an array of appetizing vegan salads and dips, artisan gluten free breads, fruit, and a well stocked cheeseboard! To round the day off (and as a reward for all their hard work!) guests were treated to a refreshing Gin and Tonic or a chilled glass of Prosecco, served in the evening sunshine on the front lawn. A fantastic day was had by all and we think it is safe to say that everyone enjoyed a good night’s sleep!
