Pamflete House
Pamflete House is a large Grade II listed house set in the heart of the Flete Estate, with a stunning views across Pamflete valley. The House can sleep 12 people, with two master bedrooms, a double room and three twin rooms. The house is well furnished with Vi-Spring beds, Egyptian cotton bed linen, and an abundance of comfortable sofas.
From your front door you have access to walks along the estuary and a short walk to the beach. Located in the countryside with peaceful surroundings and birds singing in the morning. The House is surrounded by two acres of gardens with a club sized tennis court, croquet lawn and gas barbecue on the terrace, it has table tennis, table football, and a pool table for rainy day entertainment.
The dining room can accommodate 22 comfortably, making this a wonderful house for wedding groups and family celebrations. Many guests also take the adjoining East Wing, which sleeps an additional 6 people and can be accessed from the house or by a separate entrance.
Additional housekeeping is provided twice a week for 2.5 hours and we are happy to recommend a fabulous local chef to help with any catering requirements .

Access
Pamflete House has a level gravel parking area leading through to a same-level slate pathway to the house. A small step up onto the concrete floor of the porch and over a low wooden threshold (1cm) takes you into the main hall. The hall, sitting room, dining room and drawing room are wood floors and there are large rugs in the drawing and sitting rooms.
There is a single step up to the flower room which leads to the downstairs loo which again wood floor. The kitchen and back kitchen have same-level entry from the main hall and have stone floor surface leading through to a wood floor in the back passage. The playroom has one step up into it and there is a wood floor throughout this area leading to a step up into the downstairs loo.
The laundry room is accessed from the back passage and has a non-slip safety vinyl flooring and the next door shower room has a gently slope threshold to a stone floor. There is a 1cm lip at the entrance to the shower. The threshold of the back, side and flower room doors have low steps.
There is an eighteen step wooden staircase up to the first floor which is carpeted throughout with no raised thresholds. The en-suite bathrooms from the front and back super king bedrooms have a standard height bath and a step-less shower. All the bathrooms throughout the first floor have wood floors and standard height baths. The exception top this is the end bathroom which has a 65cm high roll top bath in the middle of the room and a large shower with 2cm lip entrance.
There are twenty-two wooden steps with hand rail leading from the downstairs back passage up to the integrated East Wing flat of Pamflete House. There is a wood floor throughout the hallway, living and dining room with a hearth rug next to the fire. The bedrooms are carpeted throughout with 1cm high wooden threshold bars. The back twin bedroom, loo, bathroom and shower room are accessed via two steps down onto a carpeted landing area. The bathroom and loo then have no raised thresholds and have stone wood floor. The shower has one wooden step up and has a stone floor.
