“We have been coming here since 1993 and not one year has failed to impress. We have enjoyed sailing and canoeing expeditions up and down the river and the thrill of jumping in to the cold water for a quick swim. Also endless games of cricket, rugby and football on the beach. Then after an exhausting day, the crackling fire warms us up….another great stay” The Families FA and C
“Wonderful cottage… like a gingerbread house on the outside, but Tardis like inside….”
“A romantic place in an C18th sense… one of the few places where people fade into the background and the living landscape works its holistic magic…It’s our first time and we have enjoyed the privacy and seclusion and walking on the beach to find heron and egrets standing in the water. The best bit has been doing all the things we really enjoyed when children… paddling, picnics, swinging on the rope under the oak tree,… rediscovering how invigorating it is to wade up to your knees and stand in the silence of the twilight. We look forward to returning because this place is definitely somewhere it is impossible to forget. Many thanks.”

Christmas at Nepeans…“chocolate box cottage in an idyllic location… peace and relaxation… roaring log fires while the wind howled and the rain lashed down outside… to awake on our first morning to stunning views across the estuary, we ran like children to every window… our teenagers and young adults rediscovered their childhood antics…”
