Reviews
We have spent 2 magical weeks here with all our family. Returning home filled with peace and tranquillity of this special location. Thank you for maintaining everything to such high standard.
A row of 4 cottages with number 4 occupied by a caretaker, these cottages are right on the estuary with no other house in sight. They are especially popular with walkers as the South West Coastal footpath is reached via a stile at the end of the drive. These cottages share a communal garden, play area and games room and are especially popular with extended families and friends who take all three cottages. Guests can keep canoes/wind surfers and small boats on the beach below the cottages or on a guest mooring.

“so glad to be back here after so many years. The stay could not have been more tranquil. We’ve felt a world away from our ordinary lives. We look forward to coming back before too long.” Lawrence C
“memories of Flete and Coastguards,….waking in the night to see through our open curtains the unspoilt sky full of stars; eating breakfast watching the waves roll in; seeing our eight year old labrador running on the beach and swimming like a one year old; the first sight of Mothecombe beach after clambering and wading round the point; Mothecombe House, wonderful Queen Anne enhanced by Lutyens’ s exquisite additions; “ Michael and Jane S
