Reviews
A row of 4 cottages with number 4 occupied by a caretaker, these cottages are right on the estuary with no other house in sight. They are especially popular with walkers as the South West Coastal footpath is reached via a stile at the end of the drive. These cottages share a communal garden, play area and games room, and are especially popular with extended families and friends, who take all three cottages. Guests can keep canoes/wind surfers and small boats on the beach below the cottages, or on a guest mooring.

This cottage has a second WC/basin downstairs which makes it popular with older couples as well as families. A favourite with a writer who used to stay for a month every September to finish her book.

“The children have been in their element, digging castles and moats, crabbing, collecting shells, walking up the estuary, watching the horses galloping in the sea….and coming and going from the cottage is so quick and easy. We have been comfortably accommodated and love the pretty style of the cottage. All the little touches, (daffodils on the table, milk in the fridge, and all the equipment we could possibly need, so well thought out) have been much appreciated. The house is beautifully clean: this is our first visit and we hope to return.

“Here for a 70th birthday with family and friends reunion in all 3 cottages.Fun to be together, and plenty of space to be apart. Really well appointed accommodation and everything well thought out.
The private walk to Pamflete beach is a joy, with carefully planted clumps of snowdrops. Thank you whoever did it. “ (Brian, caretaker in Coastguards number 4),
