Coming up….

Sunday 29th March 2020 – Mothecombe Garden Open Day. The first opportunity of the year to visit the private gardens at Mothecombe House. Enjoy a stroll through the orchard to the pond and bog gardens or enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the walled Bee Garden. Homemade refreshments and plant sale available. Open 11am – 4pm. Dogs welcome on leads. All proceeds will be donated to charity.

Sunday 19th April 2020 – Mothecombe Garden Open Day. Our established gardens are well known for the varied range of ornamental shrubs and trees, many dating from the Victorian era. Enjoy a stroll along the Duchess Walk, full of flowering mature Magnolias, Rhododendrons and Camellias. Open from 11am – 4pm. Refreshments and plant sale available. Dog welcome on leads. All proceeds will be donated to charity.

Saturday 18th April 2020– Flete Point to Point – A great day out for all the family held within the grounds of Flete Park. Races, refreshments, delicious food and lots of stalls to browse around.

Saturday 2nd May 2020 – Flete Point to Point – Another chance to enjoy a great afternoon at Flete Park Point to Point!

Sunday 3rd May 2020 – As part of the National Garden Scheme, Mothecombe House are opening their private gardens for you to enjoy. With homemade refreshments and a plant sale it is the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon in the orchard, among the wild Bluebells, Foxgloves and Campion. Open from 11am – 5pm. Dogs welcome on leads. All proceeds will be donated to charity.

Sunday 10th May 2020 – Pure Trail – Race the Tide. Held within the grounds of our private Estate, competitors can opt to take part in 3 different races,  from 8.5 miles, 15.5 miles or the more challenging 28.5 miles. For further information visit https://www.puretrail.uk/race-the-tide/

Sunday 14th June 2020 – Mothecombe Garden Open Day. The last chance before the summer starts to enjoy the gardens at Mothecombe House. On this occasion, the garden is open on behalf of The Children’s Hospice so all proceeds from the day will be donated to this very worthwhile cause. Homemade refreshments and plants sale available. Dogs welcome on leads. Open 11am – 5pm
