Dogs, Parking & Facilities

Dogs are not permitted on Mothecombe Beach between 1^st May and 30^th September. They are very welcome on Coastguards and Wonwell Beach all year around.

For health and safety reasons, and out of courtesy for others, please can dog owners clear up any dog mess and take any bags away with them.

Council Dog Bins are provided at the top of the slipway above Coastguards Beach and as you enter the car park, though the hedge, from the lane.

Mothecombe car park is open daily, last entry at 5pm (gates will be closed and locked at 7pm) and there is plenty of parking for up to 500 cars.

From April 1^st  – September 30^th, parking attendants are in place as season charges are applicable:

£6.00 per day

£3.00 after 3pm

£70.00 Season tickets are also available, and these can be purchased from the car park attendant.

Public Toilets are provided courtesy of The School House.

There are no facilities provided on the beaches.

Please note that for environmental and safety reasons, overnight camping and BBQs on the beaches is strictly prohibited.
