BY CAR
Leave
the A38 at Wrangaton Cross, signposted Ermington/Modbury/Yealmpton.
Turn left off the slip road on to the A3121 and drive for a mile
to the crossroads at the bottom of the hill. Turn right along the
A3121 towards Ermington/Modbury/Yealmpton. Stay on this road for
5 miles, bypassing Ugborough and Ermington, until you come to the
T Junction with the A379. Turn right towards Plymouth. After three
quarters of a mile, at the top of the hill, turn left, signposted
Holbeton/Mothecombe/Alston. Stay on this road, bypassing two turnings
to Holbeton until you come to the hamlet of Battisborough Cross.
Turn left at the crossroads heading towards Mothecombe.
The drive to the Flete Estate Office is the first on the left (after
a sharp left-hand bend) and is clearly signed.
BY RAIL
The
main towns and cities of Devon are served with direct and frequent
rail services from all over the country.
First Great Western Railways run a regular service from Paddington
to Plymouth. Selected trains stop at Totnes and Ivybridge.
BY
AIR
Regular
scheduled services make use of Airports at Exeter, Plymouth and
Newquay.
From May 2005 there will be a service operating from Bristol to
America.
BY
SEA
Plymouth
has a large port and has regular scheduled services national and
international.
