Every year thousands of people visit the Devon County Show, an agricultural event that has evolved into what is probably the best showcase of everything Devon has to offer – from fashion to farming, live music to food and drink. The entire event is centred on country life – with some of the best examples of British livestock, farm produce and farm products in a variety of competitions and shows. Here you and your family will be able to sample the best of Devon life, as well as a few surprises.

Celebrate the Olympic Relay as it passes through local villages borne by children of the surrounding communities. The torch will be arriving in Yealmpton at 9.09am in and there will be jugglers, drinks and food stalls and a party atmosphere to accompany it! If you miss Yealmpton it will be arriving in Modbury at 9.25am.

The festival kicks off on Friday 25th May and runs till Sunday 27th on the town square and surrounding area. There will be loads of superb local food produces, suppliers, and restarunters for you to sample, as well as some of the best sounds around!
